First World Wednesday

I have to dye my roots either today or tomorrow since I have a haircut on Friday (I need to dye it before I get it cut so I know if the cut is right)...but it's such a pain in the ass and I'm feeling lazy today.

    What do you use?  I don't color my hair and it's super mousy.  I told myself I'd leave it until I start going gray (not yet, knock on wood) but I feel like I look old and tired lately.  I could use a little brightening up.
    I use Feria. #45. I get so many compliments on my color (even from stylists)!

    If I have a PDF open on that screen already, future PDFs will open on that screen, too. But if not? They open on the wrong screen.

    Would you care to share with the rest of the class? Ya know, JIC mine ever goes on the fritz.
    Patience and magic is all I can attribute it too. I opened one and POOF! Opened on the correct screen. Maybe the steps you had me take had something to do with it and it just needed time to "think about cooperating."

    The architect that we worked with to design our house plans is really nice, and really old, like 82 or something, and I love him.  The plans that he has made for us are amazing and meet every single request we gave him, and I did not think it was going to be possible.  We met with him about a month ago to make a couple of last changes and he just now got the plans back to us today.  Previously it would only take a few days or a week max to get them back to us.  However, they still aren't right!  He has had some kidney stone and prostate health issues recently and I think may actually be in the hospital now.  We need to meet with him again soon for him to fix the plans (again) so that we can go ahead and get the plans and our land appraised together so that we can start getting our construction loan process underway, except that I don't think we are going to be able to meet with him anytime soon.  I really hope that the architect's health improves and he is able to go home soon because he is such a nice guy, but also we want to finish up with our house plans!  
    Can you just use the current plans to get the construction loan underway? Depending on how big the changes are, you might even be able to start construction and have your contractor do the other items as a change order. If you have a contractor on board they could possibly do some of the changes without stamped drawings.
