1. How many weeks are you?/How big is baby? (Fruit/Veggie) 37 weeks, winter melon. No wonder I feel huge!
2. Symptoms, Rants, Cravings, Appointments? Everything is swollen and I feel so freaking heavy. No real rants, except still working is hard, yo! I want brownies and chocolate chip cookies in the worst way.
My appointment is tomorrow. My OB is at a conference so I am seeing another doctor at my practice. Not sure what to expect.
3. GTKY: Trying to get motivated about my fitness routine post-baby. What is your favorite way to exercise (if any, not judgment from me!)? After the bleeding stops I am hoping to swim some and do a toning dvd at my house.
1. How many weeks are you?/How big is baby? (Fruit/Veggie) 37w, winter melon (which I have never even heard of?)
2. Symptoms, Rants, Cravings, Appointments? Same as last week, some back and hip pain, a little bit of heartburn, general tiredness. All I want to do is eat cake, which is so weird, because I hate cake normally. Any kind of cake will do. I have my 37 week appointment tomorrow, which will hopefully be quick. I want to talk to my OB about delayed cord clamping, but she doesn't do cervical checks until 40 weeks, so I'm hoping I'll be in and out. Love hearing his heartbeat every week though.
3. GTKY: Trying to get motivated about my fitness routine post-baby. What is your favorite way to exercise (if any, not judgment from me!)? I have honestly never worked out ever, but I had just started Couch to 5K when I found out I was pregnant, so I'm going to go back to that, I think.
Me: 30 | DH: 4/12/85 - 6/16/14 | Quinn Patrick born 9/28/14
1. How many weeks are you?/How big is baby? (Fruit/Veggie) 37w, winter melon. I'm not entirely sure what that is, but it's gotta be big.
2. Symptoms, Rants, Cravings, Appointments? Heartburn from hell. Guise, he's gonna come out looking like Chewbacca, I know it. I'm all set with work, too. I just want to walk away at this point, but I still have to wrap up some stuff and not leave my files all a mess for everyone else to deal with. But I really want to. I want all the sweets. I'm about to have a strawberry and cream cheese filled croissant for snack/early lunch. 37w appointment this afternoon at 3:00. It's still just a belly measurement and heartbeat check, no cervical check til next week. Hopefully it's quick, because the more important appointment this afternoon is for my hair at 4:30. First hair appointment in 10 months. I can not wait.

What is your favorite way to exercise (if any, not judgment from me!)? Swimming and running (well, jogging. I'm pretty slow, but I enjoy it). Hopefully the weather will stay nice for a while after DS gets here and I can take him out for walks/jogs on the bike paths.
@bazingabee: yummy, I heart sweet and sour sauce, that was a craving for a few weeks. Thankfully it passed because I am pretty sure that would send my glucose levels sky high!
@SusieBW: I often go forever in between hair appointments. Have fun getting all freshened up!
@windwithfingers: I started couch to 5k last fall. My app kinda sucked but I did find it motivating. And when you are done raving all the cake, send it my way! I have always been a sucker for cake!

I used to be so good and go every 7-8 weeks, and my hair always looked nice, but then I had to cancel one of those appointments because I was sick and didn't know when I could reschedule to, and it has all been downhill from there. And it seems to take a major event to get me in there - last November, I had sinus surgery, and made a hair appointment after 9 months for the week before, thinking it would help my recovery if I had pretty hair to offset my black eyes (it totally helped). Now I want pretty hair for pictures with a new baby, and my appointment has to be this week, because there will also be pictures at DD's birthday party this weekend. I'm so excited.
36 weeks, honeydew melon, although he's been measuring about a week ahead all along. I'll be having him at 39 weeks via induction thanks to my diabetes.
I want coconut.
And I want to sleep.
I love weight lifting and running sprints. But I'll be doing Ashley Conrad's Clutch program to get back into shape.
1. How many weeks are you?/How big is baby? (Fruit/Veggie) 36 weeks, so Honeydew Melon.
2. Symptoms, Rants, Cravings, Appointments? Water retention swelling has started, as has regular heartburn (even with meds). I have weekly MFM and OB appointments. Both are pretty short these days.
3. GTKY: Trying to get motivated about my fitness routine post-baby. What is your favorite way to exercise (if any, not judgment from me!)? Swimming in the summer and walking the rest of the year.

How many weeks are you?/How big is baby? (Fruit/Veggie) 37 weeks. Holy crap! Winter melon.
2. Symptoms, Rants, Cravings, Appointments? Everything hurts. Lol I had some light contractions last night. Next appointment is next Thursday (18th).

I'm very excited to get back to working out for real. After having DS2 I got into a nice routine and lost 30 lbs (on top of the baby weight). Then of course a year later, when I was in the best shape I had been in in a while, I got pregnant. My workouts consisted of 30 minutes of HIIT (high intensity interval training) on an AMT, elliptical or treadmill. Then 45-60 minutes of weight training. I started off on the weight machines but ended up really liking free weights better. I noticed a big difference once I started lifting compared to just doing cardio.

2. Symptoms, Rants, Cravings, Appointments?
All I want is pastries (Donuts, chocolate croissants, cake, cookies, bear claws and bowties.. mmmm...) Went to our first of 2 child birth classes last night. Afterwards I asked DH if he was ready for all the gruesome stuff that will happen. He said he's fine with it, but we both agreed that we're opting out of the video she's showing next week. No thanks. We're going to keep the mystery alive. X_X

What is your favorite way to exercise (if any, not judgment from me!)? I'm going to slowly get back into yoga (which is easily done at home) and light weights. and then when I get the go-ahead, I want to sweat! I haven't had a good workout-sweat since pre-pregnancy. I want to workout (run, jog, weights, cardio, whatever i can physically handle), sweat out all the grossness, take a shower and chill out. yeah!
2. Complete and utter exhaustion, back pain, hip pain, crankiness, insomnia (I should be asleep right now since I worked last night and work tonight, but I can't), swelling. Cravings: all the sweets and I can't have them due to GD. I did give in this week to pumpkin cake with cream cheese icing and my sugars stayed pretty good still. Appointments: I go twice a week on Monday and Thursday for BPP and NSTs. She checked me last week and I was a finger tip. Halfway hoping she'll check again tomorrow so I can see if I'm having any progress.... hoping to talk about a delivery date soon since we will also be inducing around 39 Weems due to the GD.
3. Exercise kills. My phone agrees since it kept auto correcting every time I tried to type it, lol.
1. How many weeks are you?/How big is baby? (Fruit/Veggie)
37 weeks/ winter melon
2. Symptoms, Rants, Cravings, Appointments? I've been having more and stronger BH the last few days, and everything in my crotch/butt region seems to be swollen/engorged. My cravings have mostly been when I'm driving and I am DYING for an ice cream cone or some froyo. Weird. Also, I just got back from my appointment for the week and the Dr. said baby is "head down...she's really wedged in down there." Everything else looks good!
3. GTKY: Trying to get motivated about my fitness routine post-baby. What is your favorite way to exercise (if any, not judgment from me!)? I've been working out a couple times a week with a personal trainer since before getting pregnant. We do a combo of weights and (when not pregnant) some high intensity interval training. Also, when not pregnant, I do some sort of cardio, usually running, about 4x per week, and I hope to get back into that routine as quickly as possible!!
1. 37 weeks Winter Melon ( I have no idea what this is either).
2. BH contractions are getting more intense and more frequent. Oh the swelling! My feet and ankles are the same size as my thighs. Insomnia, heartburn, and back, pelvis, and butt pain. I had my appointment today and I am 2.5 cm dilated and 60% effaced. They said if I don't go between now and my appointment next week we are going to discuss induction. The only cravings I have right now is ice. I really don't have much of an appetite here lately.
3. After LO is born I plan on starting out slow and just walking and watching what I eat. Then I will get into some more intense cardio and toning exercises.

33 weeks and a durian...wtf is a durian??
2. Symptoms, Rants, Cravings, Appointments?
Craving everything under the sun cuz I can't have any of it with gestational diabetes.
3. GTKY: Trying to get motivated about my fitness routine post-baby. What is your favorite way to exercise (if any, not judgment from me!)?
Usually I play softball in the summer so that's my favorite summer exercise. The rest of the year I usually am doing Zumba. Tons of fun!
