So far things that get my metabolism up have been the best...exercise, iced mochas from 7-11, and sex. I want to try prune juice, but keep forgetting to buy it.

My hubby's favorite saying, "Do you know what will help? Sex." Such a clever man. ;)

Ugh you have to try everything possible to get yourself to go. Down 3 cups of prune juice, eat prunes, take miralax, take a stool softener every night, fiber gummies... Anything and everything!!! Also DRINK WATER, all day long!!

I was so constipated last week I had to physically pull the poop out of me because it was stuck. I don't ever want to have to do that again it was the most disgusting thing of my entire life. When the poop is inside of you for that long it becomes rock hard, and not to mention huge and extremely painful to push out. Like I was literally sweating because I had no idea how I was going to get this out of me. It's no joke dude. When poop backfires, it's not messing around.

Metamucil has worked for me. It took a couple days to get going but now I drink one packet a day and have been feeling much better. First couple days are hard with bloating but once that passes with the first movement it subsides.

Lots and lots and lots of water worked for me- my goal was like 120 oz or something. Also chili and Mexican food.

Constipation is just about the worst part of pregnancy! You could try prunes, but since I'm lactose intolerant, a big bowl of ice cream works for me... :/

    Salad always works for me.

Oh @janda426‌ that sounds so terrible. I remember you talking about that last week but whoa didn't realize it as that bad. FX you don't have to go through that again honey!!

If only sex worked. Coffee usually takes care of it but not so much lately. I'm getting Metamucil tomorrow and eating grapes now. Here's hoping!

That is almost word for word what I told my hubby. That it felt like I was pooping rocks. I only went 3 days and hadn't realized it, but yeah, there was sweating and screaming involved ... I think the pain of that experience convinced me I'm going to need an epi at birth. :(

Mix some extra virgin olive oil in a small glass of juice and chug. Works in like 30 minutes for me

What sucks is I had gastric bypass a year ago so all the food that makes you go I can't eat! But I have found smoothies are working great! Protein powder, Greek yogurt, blueberries and milk or oj and a banana works great!

I had an experience like that before. OMG!!! I'd rather go thru natural child birth with triplets than to ever go thru that again. I swear it was the size of a baseball

I take 500 mg of magnesium every night to help with migraine prevention. If I ever skip the magnesium due to nausea then the next day I won't poop. Other than those days I have had no problems with constipation and have stayed regular throughout my pregnancy. You might want to start with a lower dose of magnesium though bc if affects people differently and I was on an even higher dose pre-pregnancy. My doctor said it is safe up to 600 mg per day for pregnancy but talk to you doctor.

Ugh, I have tried almost everything on this list, and nothing! It's been a week of hell. I ate Taco Bell, gas station burritos, Mexican food, jalepenos, even the dreaded sugar free gummy bears. An entire bag of those suckers. Nothing. A bottle of prune juice over the course of a few hours, dried prunes, hot apple juice, and a stool softner. Nothing. All that food over the course of 24 hours. My husband thinks it's hilarious to point out every time he goes-_- hoping you ladies are having a better time! Ready to not have any zofran so I'll be normal again

Yes yes yes. I'm there with you. I'm struggling like this at least once a week (up until 10 mins ago being the latest episode) and I too am feeling convinced that it will be a yes please to an epi at birth!!! - my oh my I'm exhausted.... This last episode had me bonded to the toilet for the last 5 hours!
