I will start it this week, but tell me if you think this is a silly idea.

This is a cute idea! I like it

Our families knew each other since before I was born. (I actually attended my husband's 1st birthday party in my mom's womb

) In high school I knew who he was and always thought he was cute though and I had friends who had huge crushes on him. However, we didn't actually meet until 2003 at a church dance. He had asked me to dance and I gave him my number that night. We dated for a couple weeks until he had to go back to the mainland for college and we lost touch. When he came back we dated off and on for a few years until we finally were back on for good in 2006. We eventually got engaged and married and the rest is history

We "met" in a Yahoo chat room in June '05, he was technically in a relationship (they were on a break, hehe Friends) and I was fresh out of high school. Anyway they ended, and we chatted online until we met IRL in Feb '6. We went out for few months, but DH ended it because he didn't want to do long distance and we have a large age gap. Well it didn't last very long, we still chatted and visited on another, and eventually were a couple again. When I left college I moved in with him, and a year later we got married. We have known each other 9 years and have been married for almost 6.

I love this idea!

When I was 13, I started dating a guy, K, who cheated on me with my friend, Amy. Amy wound up dumping him and dated DH. When they broke up, DH and I started dating. We were 15 at the time. We went different colleges and got married 10 years later. Both K and A were in our wedding so happy endings for all!

We met at a bar. I sometimes try and fancy it up, but the back story is really just a distraction from we met at a bar. (He was in town because he was flooded out of his apt and came home for a while)

We met working together at an amusement park during Christmas time. We got put at the same ride together one night and it was slow so we spent the whole night chatting and that was that. I was 19 and he was 21.

We met playing softball. I was the organizer for our residence and unknowingly out our best player (DH) on the "B" team lol. Good thing we met because of my error

Ours is a little complicated because when we first met, I was dating the manager of the restaurant and H was in town for work for 5 weeks and came to eat there pretty much every night. We ended up becoming friends. When my relationship ended almost a year later, my H and I were still friends and in touch and he had received a promotion and was permanently moving to my area. We started dating and the rest is history!

Cute idea! Love it! Nothing fancy about our story. We met in college. He was a junior and I was a freshman but a lot of my friends lived on his hall so we got to know each other over the year and started dating right before the end of the school year.

Ours is interestingly intertwined. DH's family and my family did a lot of church events when we were little. I knew DH's grandparents and aunt but to my memory never knew him. Fast forward to jr high and he took one of my good friends to our 8th grade semi and I happened to be the person who found his coat for him at the end of the night. Then freshman year, I was flirting with a mutual friend of ours during a band hoagie fundraiser. I annoyed him so much he threw pieces of bread at me. We both went on our music department trip that year looking to date other people and after fighting and flirting in the pool we started dating. There's been a few off and on moments since, but he popped the question after we graduated from separate colleges. Two years later we were married. We've been married now for almost 6 years. (Sorry so long)
