Hi there as a first time mom I was looking to see if there are any good books out there about baby's first year. Looking for topics around sleep, food, play etc
I've read all of @chickenhawke's suggestions and agree -- hilarious and useful! Just wanted to add that, if you ever do choose to sleep train, I adore The Sleepeasy Solution. I've referenced it tons even after sleeping was basically taken care of for us, just for tips on how to deal with timezone changes, travel, etc.

Anything called "sippy cups are not for Chardonnay" sounds like my kind of reading! So looking that one up.

I really enjoyed The Baby Whisperer books by Traci Hogg. I felt like it really gave us a great foundation as far as what to expect when and some great ideas about how to handle things. We used them a lot with DS and I'll refer back to them with this one too. Love my E.A.S.Y. Method schedule!
I bartender at a restaurant sometimes, and before I got knocked up, my friend and I would drink champagne on ice out of Styrofoam cups. We called them sippy cups. We are classy like that. I need that book!
