Sigh It's a boy

Before I begin, I am beyond thrilled to be expecting my first child. I've dreamed of this day forever! I'm sighing because I had no issues at all daydreaming of names for a little girl however, I cannot for the life of me find a boy name that I like. Here's what I've got....

Brady (I absolutely LOVE this name however nephew's name is Brayden)
Brody (a nice alternative to the above but DH doesn't care for it)

And a few others that are just ok...

Cameron (nn Cam)
Mac
Noah
Ryan

What about Bradford or Bradley instead of Brady?

I dislike Brody a lot.

I don't really like Cameron.

Mac is a nn.

I love Noah because it was my nephew's name, but it's very popular right now.

I like Ryan the best out of your choices.

@chapstix7 We had Brinley Elizabeth picked out. Others were Ella, Grace, and Lily but we were 99% sure she was going to be Brinley.

I might be in the same boat with you. We've had a girl's name picked out for ages and we couldn't agree on a boy's first name. My spidey sense is telling me I'm having a boy and I find out on the 16th.

As a New England resident, I am sick to death of the name Brady (and Tom Brady himself).

Brody isn't bad but it makes me immediately think of Jason Lee's character in Mallrats. Besides, if Brady is too close to your nephew's name, changing one letter doesn't make it very different.

Cameron is a nice name, I like the NN Cam. Do you like Colin or Conner?

Mac is a nickname, I don't like it as a standalone.

Noah and Ryan are two of my favorite names for boys, I like them both a lot.

I really like Camden but my neighbor has a boy with that name so I didn't want to use it. I think your list is good. I like Noah too but super popular here. Brady is nice too but I know what you mean about your nephew..kinda close.

I love PP's suggestions of Bradford or Bradley. They are a little preppy, but I think they are very wearable for all ages.

Cameron is nice. Maybe Malcolm instead of Mac (only works as a NN imo.) Do you have any Mc- or Mac- names in your family trees that you could use as a MN? DS2 has a Mc- middle name and I have always thought that would allow for the NN potential of Mac

My favorite boy name of your list is Ryan. I dislike Brady and especially dislike Brody. Bradley is similar but a much nicer name. Cameron is NMS and Mac is not a complete name IMO. Noah is also NMS but would win against Brady/Brody any day of the week.
