Success after failed IVF (twice) 2IF (DS mentioned)

Good Morning, I am new to this board and am looking for advice. My long story, short, is that I am unexplained 2IF (DS1 conceived without help). We've been trying with an RE for over two years, IUI's IVF, PGS testing. All have failed.

RE wants to do a medicated cycle and instead of doing the FET, do a uterine biopsy at the time of a typical transfer to test my lining.

She thinks my lining looks great on the ultrasounds but since my PGS tested embryos are not implanting, a biopsy will give her more info. Does that sounds right? We have two failed FET's (no fresh used b/c of hyper stim during IVF). Have any of you had success on FET #3?

I also had 2 failed FETs when trying for #2 (#1 was from first IVF attempt). After the 2nd one, we sat down with the RE and she suggested a hysteroscopy and endometrial biopsy among other things. I had the tests done between day 6 and 12 of my cycle. The hysteroscopy was to check and make sure I didn't have any polyps or other uterine abnormalities, which I didn't. And the biopsy was to check for any infections that needed to be treated before we went ahead with FET #3.

The RE also made a comment about how the biopsy can sort of stimulate the uterus and make it more susceptible to implantation (for lack of better words), although its not proven. I ended up with a surprise BFP that same cycle while we waited to start FET #3. But what your RE is suggesting sounds right. Good luck to you!

Hi again. To those who shared their experience and anyone who has had a uterine biopsy, what is recovery like?

My doctor is doing it during a hysteroscopy on a Friday and DS1's birthday party is two days later on Sunday. I'm nervous im going to feel like crap for his party.

I had a hysteroscopy and lysis of adhesions August 7th. I had extensive scar tissue from retained placenta. I bled for exactly 7 days and was fine the next day. I was groggy the day of the surgery and slept in late the day afterward though.
