So, I administered my third PIO injection this morning, and within 15 seconds of finishing the injection, I felt my lungs... clench. They just sort of seized up. I was still able to breathe, but the sensation was uncomfortable. The worst of it lasted only a few minutes; and it was mostly gone within 30 minutes. I'm still feeling tickley irritation when I take a deep breath, but I don't have any issues breathing, per se.
This may very well just have been a very unfortunate timing coincidence. Last week I had a lot of seasonal allergy problems, and my throat was pretty scratchy when I woke up this morning. I don't even know if it's possible to feel a side effect that quickly from an IM injection. I also have no visible skin reactions.
Am I being ridiculous? Should I bring this up with my doctor, or just see what happens with the shot tomorrow? The problem is, they took me off of Endometrin yesterday, because it was causing so much cramping. So my only progesterone source right now is PIO.
