Babi Italia Hamilton Convertible Crib?

Anyone have this crib and if so did you use a standard crib mattress or did you have to get a bigger one. Manufacturer says it fits standard size mattresses but others have said they needed to get a bigger one.

I got standard. Seems good but I haven't put baby in it yet. I didn't see any gaps that caused concern.

Hello, I received the Babi Italia Hamilton crib second hand and when putting it together, we realized that our friend only have us about half of the needed hardware. Does anyone have this crib in storage (to-be-thrown-away) and is willing to just sell me the hardware? I called the manufacturer but they are going out of business.
