Gulping/swallowing air

DD is 4 days old and 6lbs. My milk is really coming in and I think she's having trouble with the let down. She starts gulping furiously as soon as she latches and is swallowing air. It eventually regulates, but she will get angry and it gets hard to get her to latch back on. She's pretty gassy, I assume from the air she's swallowing. Any tips or suggestions?

    She latches, begins sucking, and within a couple of seconds she starts gulping and swallowing air. You can tell she is trying to keep up with what's coming out. How do I encourage let down before she latches?
