I slept with my son in the bed til about 3 months ago. He went from toddler bed our room to toddler bed his own room about a month ago. Mommy has been so happy and finally got half the bed to herself. I'm 9 months pregnant and haveto just sleep weird to get comfortable. Yeah! Why didn't anyone warn me??? Don't give in and let them sleep with you when daddy goes to work. Yeah well thanks a lot! Where is he right now? on the floor. I made a cot and his is totally content with that. For the past week he hasn't wanted to sleep in his room, coming to our room crying until he finally passes out. I feel bed but I just can't let him get used to sleeping with us again. Do I have to start over. Are there tips? I am so not dipping anything in wiskey though! And for the record. I had to rewrite most of this because it didn't post the whole thing

Thanks

  • I'm t sure what your issue really is, but if you are trying to get your son to sleep in his own room (which he should do, by the way), you have to go through some tough love and just let him scream and cry.  Did I read right that you have a cot for him in your room?  If so, get it out of there.  He will never stay in his room if he is invited into yours.  Do not engage when he leaves his room and comes into yours.  Just keep putting him back in his room.  Eventually he will get it.
