I VBAC'd!

Lucas Christopher was born on 6/1/14 after my water breaking around 4:15am. I was GBS positive so I did not bother laboring at home since I needed antibiotics. I did get an epidural but thankfully Pitocin wasn't needed. I started pushing at 12:40pm and he was born at 1:35pm. I did have a bad tear and even an episiotomy, but the overall experience was much better than with my c-section.

I suppose it was failure to progress. I truly feel Pitocin led to it!

I am so excited to hear this! I am trying for a vbac myself. My doctor won't give me Pitocin, so I need to go into labor naturally before 8/14! Every positive story helps!
