It's just too hot in San Diego! We have air conditioning in our/DS's bedroom but nothing in the living room. DS has been sooo fussy today and yesterday and tonight I decided to aim a fan at us while nursing and he finally passed out! From everything I've read he should cry if he's too cool, right? Does it seem as though he was just too warm and is finally comfortable enough to relax? Babies are hard.

It does suck. I am out in Riverside County and it has been in the 100s. I adjusted the a/c from 77 to 75 on both floors and it is much better.

I deal with this too! I usually keep my house pretty cold, so when we brought DD home I was frantically trying to keep her warm. Turning the thermostat up, swaddling her with a onesie and socks underneath, hats, etc. One night I picked her up when she started to cry and thought her diaper leaked. Nope, it was SWEAT. I have since learned that she is hot blooded like her momma and needs nothing more than a onesie and socks always. Lol. And sometimes when she gets into her apparent "witching hour" we strip her down to her diaper because she gets even hotter when she cries for long periods. I periodically check her to see if she's too cold, but its just never the case. Now I'm worried about when I have to turn the heat on in the winter…I will have to figure out what to dress her in all over again. Lol
