Pregnant after having miscarriage a little over a month ago. Had hcg and ultrasound done today. Hcg is 9000 ultrasound showed only gestational sac and yolk sac I'm five weeks and four days. Is this normal!? I'm so nervous! Go back Monday for another ultrasound Monday.

My first ultrasounds showed only yolk and sac and my levels were 18k. As long your hcg is doubling properly etc. then your perfectly fine.

Sounds normal to me, I didn't see the heartbeat until after 6 weeks.. Good luck!

Thank you everyone!! My doc doesn't seem too concerned about it. The Monday ultrasound is to make sure there is an embryo in there seeing as I guess it was too early to today

I have two older children but I've never had scans done with them this early. Thank you again everyone. My hcg seems to be going up the way it's suppose to. Last Thursday it was at 2000 yesterday it was 9000. Just hate that I have to wait to Monday.
