Advice and/or opinion needed

I have been spotting steadily for two days. I had a full flow for about an hour today then back to spotting. I am waiting for AF so I can start ultrasound and meds for iui. Well I called the doc when I was having full flow today to make my ultrasound appt for tomorrow. But now back to spotting!! Is this cd1?? Should I just go in anyway tomorrow? When I do the ultrasound on cd12 won't they see if I'm ready to ovulate and if not check the next day???? Therefore if I'm a day or so off cd1 it is ok? I'm assuming this is not an exact science and that is why RE does back to bavk iui's. Any advice or opinions are welcomed. Thanks.

    My body tricks me sometimes into thinking it's CD1 too when it isn't. So annoying! We are normally supposed to come in on CD3 so I tend to wait through the day to see if it's really CD1 or not. But sounds like yours are scheduled on CD2.

    Yes the continue to check daily until you are ready to ovulate.

    But I have no opinions on what to do tomorrow!
