  This one seems hard to find but we love it! We got it at a yard sale, it may be discontinued. Stupid toy companies and battery companies colluding!

  Also we have the little 4 key little tikes one too and an awful electronic one (do NOT get the cat piano!). Lo still prefers the one I linked above, but he would like the 4 key one still a lot if it wasn't for the fact that he knows there is the same one with more keys in the other room.

  @calikat80 that looks PERFECT! They make this one now: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008MTYTWQ/ref=s9_dcbhz_bw_g21_i3_sh but the reviews on amazon were mediocre. I can't tell if those writing the reviews had way too high expectations or if it really is that annoying that the keys are out of tune.

  I didn't even read the reviews but I can tell you from the looks of it negative reviews on this are whack. Hit the keys with a finger OR use a stick? And it's on an animal? No batteries? Yeah I wouldn't be complaining about anything and neither would the little ones! I would get it!

  It's not only mega annoying, but it's semi possessed and if you leave it on but aren't playing with it, it will meow/growl every 15 minutes or so. Sometimes I will be down in the basement doing laundry (adjacent to playroom) late at night and it will be dark and I'll hear, "grrrrrrrr...meow!" from the darkened room. So freaky! I hate that toy with a passion. My sister gave it to G and I asked her what I gave to her girls when they were younger to receive such a punishment!

  We have the first one and P likes it. I tried the second one in the store and it was annoying. You heard the plastic balls clicking more than you heard the musical notes.
  The one you're getting looks neat!

  We have a Baby Einstein one that is cute and has different instrument settings. I just wish it played a full scale (only has five keys).
