OB/GYN recc's in Monmouth County

I have been seeing my ob/gyn for MANY years and she delivered my first son.  I just called to make a yearly appointment and was told that she's no longer accepting my insurance.   I'm sort of devastated as we are thinking of TTC and I dread the idea of starting all over with a new Dr  (I'm AMA and had a lot of extra Dr involvement for my first).

I've been doing a lot of googling about local practices and it seems like for every rave review I read, there's a scathing review about so many doctors!  I can also find recommendations from a few years back but it seems that a lot of doctors move around and as they change practices the reviews seem to change also.  So, I'm interested in your recent experiences.

If you have a local Dr recommendation  (I am in Eatontown) for someone who you really liked, who delivered your baby, please share!

    While I can't comment on delivery experience yet (currently expecting twins and I'm a FTM), I see Dr. Dana Jacoby in Tinton Falls.  I've been a patient of his for many years, and I've always had a good experience.  He is very attentive and personally follows up with me on test results, etc.

    I am due in March so I also can not comment yet regarding delivery however I go to Holmdel OBGYN associates and i LOVE the drs in the practice. I had some issues when first TTC and they were all so caring and informative. I highly recommend the practice. Good luck!

    I see Dr Rattigan on Rte 9 in freehold... She is amazing and is with Jersey Shore Obgyn associates...732-577-1177

    I also used Holmdel OBGYN Associates and I felt really comfortable with those doctors.  Very caring and took the time to get to know me and answer my questions.  Also liked that their first instinct was not to prescribe medication, but to try the most simple option first before prescribing something.

    I see West Long Branch OBGYN, a group of 4 or 5 doctors and 2 midwives. I like the practice a lot, been going there since 2008.

    TTC #1 since 2007. Dx: Unexplained infertility. 4 IUIs in 2008 = BFN. IVF #1 07/09. DD #1 born April 2010 (40w5d).
    TTC #2 since 2011. Dx: Endometriosis and hypothyroidism. 2 FETs in 2012, BFP 6/12 but m/c @ 7 weeks. IVF #2 06/13. DD #2  born March 2014 (40w1d).

    Ocean OBGYN on West Park Ave. Dr. Vacklavik (there are 4 or 5 other doctors there too)

    Riverview Women's Health has great practitioners. I've loved all that I've seen there and have been a patient for a long time.

    Holmdel OBGYN (they also have an office in Shrewsbury) ... Stay away from Dr. Michelle Jacoby in Little Silver, horrible!

    May be a little far but I love my doctors at Brielle OBGYN, I had my oldest while living in VA so can't comment on delivery. I will be a scheduled c-section so that will be a big factor but I am delivering at Monmouth Medical Center. I used Brielle OBGYN before living in VA 6 years ago & came back to them when we moved home.

    Ocean obgyn is an amazing practice! I love all of the doctors there. They are on West Park Ave.

    Seashore Obgyn Dr Smolinsky is the most compassionate Dr I have ever met. She delivered my lo last yr. She really worked with me to get the experience I wanted. She make suggestions and when I wasn't ready to give up on labor progression she worked with me to wait it out.

    She had a very small office so you feel like family. The nurses are fab too.

    Dr. Vaclavik at ocean ob/Gyn in ocean was amazing throughout my entire pregnancy/delivery. I had several complications but never felt worried under his care.

    Also must rec Jersey Shore OBGYN. Dr. Rattingan and Dr.Baum are wonderful. Dr. Rattingan delivered my baby via c-section on 1/17. She has great bedside manner.
