Favorite Breast Feeding Pillow

I have a Boppy and find it just okay for my newborn, sometimes it feels like its a little low(maybe bc baby is so little right now) I have seen some other pillows advertised, just not sure that I want to buy something without a recommendation. Any other good ones out there? Also if you have 2 floors in your house do you find it helpful to have a bf pillow upstairs and another one downstairs?

Re: Favorite Breast Feeding Pillow

  • My breast friend pillow.  It straps around you. I love mine.

  • I have a boppy pillow which I used for both kids. I recently bought an inflatable My Breast Friend pillow for travel and I really like the shape & the strap. I'm weaning DS now so my breast feeding days are limited, otherwise I may have went out and bought the real My Breast Friend! I think it's better for small chested Mommas.

  • I have one upstairs and one down. I'm glad I do but my sister did give me one. I have a boppy brand pillow with one firm side and one soft. I liked the firm side when she was tiny and the softer one now. The other one is from San Diego baby and quite firm. Good only for about the first month.

  • Breast friend pillow ... I first used a boppy w my newborn but it didn't seem like it was supportive enough and my LC told me to try the breast friend and it's amazing. Makes BF so much easier!
  • I have a mom boo and it has both a firm and soft side with the option of adding in  vibrating piece for whatever reason. I never got to use it because I had to sit and lean a certain way for LO.

  • My brestfriend deluxe pillow is awesome. The regular one is good to, the deluxe feels firmer and like it was a bit more durable. It really helped with my baby's latch. I also have a little beam pillow too. I initially bought the boppy and it didn't work for me.
  • I have a hoppy that I only used once- it felt like LO was too high up.  Now I just use a regular pillow.
