Water intake

Ugh! I, for one, am so sick of drinking water! But I know how important it is during pregnancy. So how much water are you pregnant ladies drinking per day?? I'm drinking roughly 12 cups a day. I've tried drinking other beverages, but I want to keep my sugar intake to a minimum....so water it is!

    I drank about a gallon a day. A little more when it was hot or I went for a walk.

    I aimed for a gallon a day when I was carrying our twins.

    I aim for a gallon... somedays I work in decaf tea or sparkling water.  I like water but sometimes I need something else!

     IUI #1-#4 BFNs and a few cancelled cycles in the mix.
    - poor responder
    ***Suprise BFP on 6/13/13. Natural MC @6wks 3days
    IVF#1 and 2- Cancelled due to no response on max stimms
    FET 5/20- BFP
    1st Beta- 641
    2nd beta- 2166
    Sono- TWINS!!!!
    Two Boys! Born January 2015 @36 weeks.  Healthy and no NICU!  So blessed!

    I suck at drinking really anything and can't believe I'm not dehydrated. I have GD so of course water is all I'm suppose to have, but man I really hate water with breakfast.

    TTC for 1.5 years with a crappy RE. 12 cycles with clomid (11 too many)
    New RE, 3 failed IUI's moving to IVF with ICSI

    I do the best I can but can't manage to drink a gallon a day.... I'm not dehydrated so I figure I'm getting by...

    TTC #1 since 8/1/10; Me:41 and BRCA1+, DH:46
    DOR (FSH 24.3)/ terrible egg quality ; homozygous MTHFR c677t
    5 IUI's: 2/11 to 6/11 and 1/12= BFN
    OE IVF#1-4 8/11-6/12= all BFN
    DE IVF#1 11/12 bad embryos= BFN
    DE IVF #2 2/13 BFP/Beta hell: m/c 5w6d
    CFNBC 7 months, not doing well; decided on guarantee program at RBA w/frozen DE
    DE IVF #3 1/14  ET 4BB; BFP;M/C 5w1d, incomplete m/c; MVA extraction in ER 7w1d

    DE FET#1 ET 3/1714; BFP, beta 1 3/27= 197, beta 2 3/31= 1586, beta 3 4/7= 13879!!
    First u/s= Twins with HBs at 6w2d! We are Team Pink x 2!!

    I've been aiming for about 100oz/day (I have a 32oz cup that I try and fill/drink 3x or more per day). I have a serious sweet tooth but I haven't been interested in sweets except for sodas....so I give myself a soda a day.

    I'm at least 1.5 gallons a day. But i like water, don't like soda. Am getting sick of it though

    I'm gonna have to up my game. I've always been a water drinker, no sodas or juices (unless they are cold pressed green juices). But when I HAVE to drink water it makes it difficult.
    I will aim for 1 gallon a day from now on. Thanks gals!

    I aim for 100oz. I usually hit at least 80oz.

    I told the nurse this. She looked at me like I had two heads and asked, "oh my gosh! Do you live in the bathroom!?"

    Sometimes I feel like I do!

    Kudos to ladies getting down a gallon!

    Also, you can judge how hydrated you are from the color of your urine. As long as your urine is light colored or almost clear, you're doing good!

    Dark colored urine = dehydration.

    I drank 130-140 ounces a day. I would aim for at least a gallon. I don't mind water, but I am not a huge drinker, so it wasn't always easy for me. My motivation was how much better I felt when I drank over a gallon. And I will also say, by 24-26 weeks I could tell it if I wasn't drinking enough water. My body felt very achy, tons of pressure and BH contractions. If I drank 120-130 oz a day, I had no pressure or contractions (until closer the end, of coure). Water intake was totally different for my twin pregancy vs my singleton :)

    I try for at least a gallon a day. I'll add lemon to it eventually though because I'm sick of the taste of plain water!

    I have found that if I'm not constantly drinking water all day I feel horrible. I've been adding a splash of juice to my water to mix it up. I don't remember drinking this much when I was pregnant with my DD.
