I just joined not too long ago, and already I'm deciding to leave. I had asked a fairly simple question (what people eat while pregnant) and I pretty much got told to "calm down… eat normally… why can't people understand the concept of leftovers…. why don't people think there are more than just sandwiches… just eat like you normally do" as if I'm suppose to be born with this knowledge. Maybe I'm the only one who has ever heard of women being told they shouldn't eat particular things. Not to mention I was called "overly sensitive" and they "don't know how people who are sensitive can survive in this world" Really nice, right?
I did not join this site, as a brand new expecting mother, and expect people to be snarky towards women who are first-time mothers to be. I figured I'd post this here because you ladies have the same birth month as I do, so I'm hoping there will be no judgement passed. So thanks for the little bits of info I did learn from some of you. That part of the experience was great. But as for the rest, I don't deal with nonsense in my every day life, so I don't want to deal with it here. I want to enjoy my pregnancy and not be bashed for asking a question.

Good luck with your pregnancy!
Word of advice: you better get a thick skin really fast, because in my experience nothing, and I mean NOTHING, gets you judged as harshly, fast and often as being a mom. Everyone has an opinion and most of them will get on your nerves. Playgrounds are vicious, man.
Anyways. Bye.
mmmk bye.
