Intro (a.k.a. Hi! Can I join you?)

Hi. I've been weirdly lurking for a couple of weeks and have decided to finally jump in, the shallow end at the very least. I'm a SAHM to a 2-year-old Jane and am anxiously (and more-so, uncomfortably...) awaiting her baby sister to make her own arrival, hopefully any day now.  We live in NH on lots of land and with a very big Saint Bernard. My husband owns his own business. In a past-life, I was a school-based SLP and I *actually* really enjoy answering questions about child-based language and speech development, so feel free to ask! I haven't carved our name in any cement, on public OR private property, and not just because I live on a dirt road... I love Diet Coke. My toddler has basically forever claimed ownership of my iPad. And I hate mornings.
