Portable milk/food warmer - Yay or nay?

I am debating whether I should get one for when we are out and about. I feel like I can achieve the same result by carrying a thermal and a little container with me to heat up the milk (or food in later months). But I see these raving reviews on Amazon and am tempted to get one.

I said no. Right now she takes cold bottles or formuka made with room temp water. I never heated up baby food while out with DS (unless "out" was at someone's house with an accessible kitchen, then maybe).

I find that it takes a reallllly long time to heat a bottle (at least the one we have does) your probably better to use a thermal container!

We have one at home and I take that to my dad's house if he's watching LO. I don't give her bottles when we're out because it's a hassle but if I did I wouldn't carry a warmer around. Too much trouble.

When you are out you can ask a restaurant to bring you a cup of hot water and you can dip your bottle in it to warm it up. Carrying the warmer around and finding a place to plug it in or sit in your car to do it won't be convienient. I had one with my first baby and never used it.

Not worth it, IMO. Never needed one with DS.

it is wide so will fit wider bottles, we used avent. i just filled it up with hot water before we left and set the bottle in it to warm when we needed it. it keeps liquids hot for a very long time
