Pain when pushing in one spot?

Hey Guys,
I'm waiting for my Drs office to open, but wanted to see if anyone had any experience.  Sorry for being a pain! There's a spot to the right of my belly button that hurts when I push it.  It doesn't hurt when I push any other spots.  It also hurts when baby "rolls" or moves over the spot.  Does RPL pain do that?  ...36 minutes until I call...

Re: Pain when pushing in one spot?

  • My belly button area was tender to the touch when it first started to... change?  Some of that is normal.  But, you could also have an umbilical hernia causing pain.  Not a super huge issue, but I would def call the doc at 9 to double check.

My dad would say "well then, stop pushing it!" lol I've definitely had a little bit of temporary tenderness, but it's a good idea to call and check in with your doctor.
Ha! I'm pretty sure my Dad would say the same thing.  I don't think I would have even realized except the Little Dude pushed up against the spot and I wasn't a fan lol.  He really needs to back off my grill :p

  • I've had a spot like that since my bump first popped... Just to the right and above my belly button... Feels like that 'hit my funnybone" sensation if I accidentally lean against something or press that spot (or the puppy steps on me)... I keep forgetting to ask my OB about it because I only think about it when it happens. #-o Curious to hear what your doc says.
I'll definitely let you know :)

  • @3girlsnthepup my Dr said it was fine and that can happen with the baby moving around so much.  However, if I start getting contractions to definitely call in.  I also have a U/S scheduled for next week though - so I would still bring it up with your doc next time you see them :)
