We use the avent free flow size 0-6 months. I was gonna buy more for back up but then thought my LO is 5 months, do I need to go to the next size? There's a huge difference in size, don't even know if he would like the bigger ones?
With DS1 I used the 0-3 month sized pacifiers until he was over a year old. Then he started losing them or chewing holes in them. As I replaced them I bought the 6-18 month pacis and honestly I could really see much difference in them. I'm not going to worry about it with this kid either
I'm in the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" camp. If the old sized pacifiers don't work anymore (like they fall out or whatever), then try moving up. If your baby still likes them, then I would just go with what works.
We have the same avent paci is just switched to 6 to 18 m mainly because he wasn't keeping the 0-6 pacis in his mouth because they were to small I would bug one and try it but if your LO is doing fine I wouldn't worry
Re: Do I need to switch pacifier size?
Maybe as their mouth grows it's easier to keep larger pacis in?
