The whining!!!!!!

I'm guessing that we have entered the throes of teething hell.

It has been raining drool in our house for at least a month now, but today all DD did was whine. We had a few bouts of real screams but then right back to this whimpering. Then we got [finally on camera!] a few laughs when I gave her a cold teether. She barely slept, didn't want to nurse much, and keeps sticking out her bottom lip in this pitiful pouty face.

I called the pedi who said to give her some tylenol which seems to have helped a bit as she is asleep on the boob right now. She has an appointment on Tuesday (for her 4 month shots - not for teething).

So I guess this is just a vent. But please feel free to share anything that is working for you to make LO more comfortable!!!

I am in teething hell now. After an hour of DD screaming tonight in what seemed like severe discomfort I finally broke down and gave her Tylenol. She's not even 16 weeks yet so this seems like it is going to be a looooooong teething process.

For real. This baby is a "scream until you turn colors and choke" baby when she's teething apparently. Also a "Mommy must hold me even though it won't make me stop screaming" baby. Lots of fun.

I can't figure out if my first kid was just easier or if I blocked out all the crap.

Yep, this is my baby too :-(
