Good thoughts for tomorrow.- UPDATE

I will be hearing about my 2nd set of betas tomorrow (blood draw was Friday). My first set on Wednesday was 1389 and I was 4w4d. The OB nurse said that range was roughly what they expect at 5-6weeks so she was happy with that number. But I know that number means nothing if its not doubling like it should. I have been anxiety-ridden all weekend waiting for tomorrow's call. If you have any good vibes/T&P's/FX to send my way I'd appreciate it!! I'm hoping she calls early- she called with the first set results before 9am. Hope everyone's having a relaxing Sunday :)

UPDATE- The nurse just called. Betas are up to 3729 (more than double!). She said that right now, hormone-wise, everything is normal. I know this is just the beginning but for now, today, I can breathe a sigh of relief. 2weeks and 2days till my US! Thanks for all of the good vibes, ladies.

IVF #2 (antagonist protocol) Feb 2014 => Converted to IUI (Perfect conditions). BFN. IVF #2.1 w/ new RE June 2014: Antagonist protocol. 33R, 31M, 30F, 19 blasts to test!!! I made it through without crashing!! :) Hats off to Dr. Fancypants!! ET of one 5AB blast. BFN. 13 10 CCS'ed snowflakes! FET #1 PUPO as of 7/29 Betas: 8/7@24, 8/9@97, 8/11@334 (etc.) Two sacs on 8/15, one seen on 8/18 after a bleed. U/s 8/25 (6+3) "perfect": 5.9 mm + HB@120bpm! U/s 9/4 (7+6): 15.9 mm + HB@172 bpm! Please, PLEASE stick this time!!!!

    @goldengirl84‌ it's funny you mention the "peace of mind" thing. I'm not even sure it will unfortunately. My loss was at 8w and a few days so it's likely that pregnancy had good betas in the beginning too. I guess I'm hoping good numbers will at least tell me that, for now, things are ok. I wish they meant more for the long term. Small goals along the way I guess... :)

    Keep in mind that to get your number that high so quickly it is likely doubling quicker than every 48 hours which is a good thing :)  Either way it's stressful so ((hugs))!

    I guess I meant "for now." It does help some to have a little reassurance along the way but I know none of us will ever officially have "peace of mind." Hoping for a good update from you.
