Anti-diarrhea meds?

I went to a wedding last night and have been up every few hours with horrible diarrhea. I can't imagine my 8 hour drive home today if this continues.

Any suggestions on what's safe to take? These cramps are ridiculous.

BFP on May 5th after Follistim & IUI #3

Waiting on cycle to resume while EBF

    My doctor said that you can take Immodium. I have taken it with both pregnancies.

    While the drive may suck, I would try to let it run its course. If you ate something bad you don't want to trap inside.

    Thanks ladies.  I didn't respond because I was driving (duh! haha) but I did let it run its course.  I looked up Immodium and my doctor gave the okay but with how bad my constipation is normally, I didn't want to use it for fear that the rebound into constipation would be unbearable. I seem to be mostly better now.

    I do think it was something at the wedding - I didn't realize it would be a buffet, and I probably should have eaten something beforehand, and I'm guessing something just wasn't kept to a proper temperature or something. Ick!

    I usually will take half a dosage of Immodium.  If I half it, I find that it won't cause a backup, but will help with the cramping and the gas until it can run its course.
