Bringing Breast Milk through US Customs

Have any of you ladies brought milk through  US Customs with you and if so how much were you allowed to bring? I tried to look it up and it basically said and acceptable amount but I have zero clue what that amount is. I have a 56 oz jug I am going to bring. Not sure if I should save more then that. My husband and I are leaving for 5 days at the end of the month and I am bringing my pump and a huge jug (that way they can test without opening a million bags). For 8 hours of traveling do you think my breast milk will make it home still good to use? I am guessing I have to buy a mini cooler and small ice pack as well to keep everything cold enough and bring it on the flight with me. Two since my lo will be home would you recommend pumping in the airport bathroom between flights to keep supply up?

Married: 5/09 ~ TTC Since: 10/10 ~ PCOS ~ Progesterone from 10/10 - 2/11 ~ HSG on 3/18 - Clear ~ Started Metformin 1000mg & Clomid 50mg 2/11 ~ Metformin upped to 1500mg 4/6 ~ 6/7 Now going to SG and put on Clomid, Ovidrel, Gonal F, Prometrium, Estrace ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP!!!!!! March 6th our little man was born. 

6/17/13 - Ovidrel, Follistim, Prometrium ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP! March 17th our St. Pattys day baby arrived

10/29/17 - Started process for IVF, got pregnant & miscarried a 2nd time since summer. 2/22 started stims - Menopur, Gonal F, Cetrotide - retrieval 3/6 - , PIO, estrace 3xday - FET 4/18 = Beta 1: 616; Beta 2: 1342 = BFP

    Thank you that is great advice! I may bring two things to put milk in I just definitely don't want to come back empty handed! I know when I get home I wouldn't be surprised if my whole frozen supply is gone so definitely want to bring some back. Now I just need to call and make sure there is a fridge in the hotel to keep my milk in.
