Breast reduction

Anyone try breast feeding after a reduction? DD is due in December and we are wanting to try but I know that it is very unlikely that it will work, especially since the nipple was removed. Thanks in advance!

    If you had a free-nipple breast reduction, where the nipple was removed and put back on as a graft, then you actually can't breast feed because all of the milk ducts to the nipple were cut  :(
    If you had what's called a pedicle breast reduction, where the nipple stays on, then breastfeeding is possible.

    I had the latter that @jenn43‌ stated. I did have and still do have supply issues, but you might not. I had mine 14 years ago. Search on this board for breast reduction, you'll find quite a few posts on it. Good luck.
