Thank you "gifts" for co-workers?

Hello,

I just returned to work from my maternity leave. I was planning on sending thank you cards to those that helped with my clients during my leave. (I thought an actual card was better than an email.) Someone mentioned about also sending a Starbucks gift card or some sort of gift card. I think it would be nice, but would it be going overboard?

I'm taking my team to a nice dinner ( on the company) and got them cute notebooks and notecards with their initials (May Designs) on it. I know I don't owe them anything but our office is busy and they worked so hard while I was out to make sure nothing slipped through the cracks

Card and maybe a thank you treat like donuts or brownies.

I think a Sbux gc is going overboard. In addition to a thank you to my co-workers, I sent an email to our boss letting him know how great of a job they did covering for me while I was out.
