Teething help

So DD is late to the game. At nine months she still has no teeth, although I think that may be changing. She has been super grumpy, won't sleep which makes her even more grumpy, and is keeping her finger in her mouth, or trying to eat this coffee table. Her finger is staying more in the area of where molers would be, but if I try to check the front teeth she rips my finger from her mouth. Is this teething? If so what can I do to make her feel better? I want yo get an amber neck less for her, but can't find them locally and ordering one will be at least Wednesday before it gets here. I simply can't take this fussing fot that long, if I have to I will have to pick up my alcohol intake. :((

Re: Teething help

  • I got my amber from Inspired by Finn, and it worked really well plus shipped fast.

Frozen washcloths and ice cubes in those mesh bags.

  • I agree about the mesh feeders. I put frozen breast milk or a piece of fruit in it and DD chomps away on it. She also likes cold/frozen wash cloths. And I will give her Tylenol if it gets bad and she is in pain.

  • So, I just tryed the mesh bag with ice and this grumpy kid just wacked it against her toys, once in her mouth she smiled, but instantly chunked it again. I gave up and gave Tylenol, she seems to be a little better. Tomorrow, I will hit the grocery store and find some fruit to freeze, she polished it off yesterday.
