This is my first pregnancy and I'm 7 months. I'm so used to the baby moving near my belly button , but lately he's been moving near my bikini line or even a little lower . Is that normal ?
Movement around the belly button area is least comfortable to me. I feel like the baby is going to push out through there since the skin seems thinner there.
I also feel some movements very low near bikini area/pubic bone. But it's mostly up north near belly button land.
I feel baby movement everywhere. One minute he seems to be kicking me up high and the next he's down low. Either he's breakdancing or he's still got enough room to flip and turn etc.
It is my understanding that fluttery feels are usually hands. Strong precise movements are usually feet, knees, or elbows. A whole belly extravaganza is the baby throwing a party for itself. The feeling that you have an alien wriggling around trying to get out is probably them turning around or flipping over. But I could be mistaken. Distinguishing between kicks, punches, elbows, knees, jazz hands, and general squirming can help ease your mind. But it isn't easy to pinpoint exactly what is what.
Feeling movements anywhere is generally normal at this time because they still have a bit of room before they become too squished. But even when birth is imminent, you will still feel movement higher up because frankly, it's a lot of baby and not a lot of room.
It varies for everyone. Hiccups for me tend to be more rhythmic and weaker in strength. Kicks are pretty intense, hits less so, and jabs are in generally odd spots relative to where I have been feeling movement that day. But I don't have x-Ray vision, so who knows how accurate my ideas are.
