Moms of girls...help please

DD is 9 months old and her hair is starting to grow out. It is really fine and straight right now (totally opposite of me being having course and curly but whatever) and I have NO idea what to do with it. I need to go find some new hair items because her baby head bands are getting to tight but I have no idea what to look for. Should I start looking for more clips then head bands? Also, once it is long enough to put up should I look for pony tail holders or just use clips? I feel really dumb asking and that I don't know this stuff but I don't and I don't have anyone to ask that would know. TIA

    I like the alligator clips that Claire's carries. They grip the hair and don't slip out as easily as some.

    I use the tiny goody rubber bands in A's hair for a Pebbles style pony.

    Yup clips. One their hsir gets to a certain length the headbands dont work anymore. I personally prefer the rubberbands bt goody that are more rubbery because emery has fine stick straight hair and these are the only ones that hold a pony.
