Tile tie breaker

Halp! We can't agree on where our accent tile for our bathtub should go.

The Details:The main tile is glossy white 16x4 with awesome mosaic tiles that are also white and glass. We're putting a 4 " row of accent tile around the wall.The accent tiles will also go on the front wall of the tub. (Yes, for those of you following my sad bathroom reno, I changed my mind on tiles. After waiting 10 days for the special order tile, I just went to Home Depo and bought plain white).

The Debate: putting the accent row of tiles about 12-18 inches from the top of the tub, or putting them about 3 feet from the top of the wall.

Sort of what we'll be doing, but our white tile is bigger, and our mosaic is more awesome.

    I'm conflicted. I think your pics are misleading because the pic for A is a better photo overall so I think it may have made me like low tiles more than I do.. or maybe not. I ended up voting for B because I like my shower and it has high tiles but it is just a shower, no bath.

    My boyfriend wants our "pretty" tiles lower down so he can see and enjoy them while in the bath. I think it's weird, and. The fact that I can only find a couple pics tells me I'm right. But he's the one installing them. And I'm the one who forced him to buy new tile, wasting 2 weeks and hundreds of dollars. So I should probably just shut up

    I voted top based on the photo of what you sort of have. With the thicker band of accent tiles I think it would look better at the top. If your tiles were like the first photo, I agree I do like them best.

    We put our accent tiles in a vertical stripe under the shower and up the waste pipe blocking....I too like to be different :)

    I posted before uploading the pic to show what I meant....the pic was taken while the bathroom was still being completed, so please ignore wrap on the bath panel :)

    We had this debate last year when we redid our bathroom. We ended up going all the way around the room with the mosaic at 3 1/2 feet and then just on the long wall in the shower we did a row near the top so you can see it when the curtain is closed.
