I'm 7 weeks today, and we found out last week (at 6wk, 3days) that we're having twins! Both babies had heart rates of 121, which my OB seemed happy with, but I'm guilty of googling things, and have read of vanishing twin syndrome. Of course, now I'm terrified. It's my first pregnancy, after 6 months of TTC with an REI. We go for weekly ultrasounds to monitor growth, and I'm just wondering if any of you have info as to what the heart rates should be each week? I'll be 7w3d at next scan, and just wondering what number to hope for?
Re: Fetal heart rates?
As the embryo develops, the heart rate will increase. Sometimes you don't even hear a heartbeat at 6 weeks and it is common for them to be lower just starting out.
