OSU/VT game

I know we have a couple OSU fans and at least two VT fans.

Just wanted to say as a Hokie fan, this game is all sorts of awesome.

Eta: Im posting this at halftime, so I know it could still go either way. So let the best team win. (Cough cough Hokies cough)

Our offensive line needs a lot work. Virginia Tech Played pretty dirty. Those are my thoughts on the game.

OSU had more personal fouls. Other than that, I know very little about football, so, whatever I say can just be tossed aside. I'm pretty pitiful.

Lol! Both teams got a bunch of penalties but I'm pretty sure VT got more personal fouls. Plus there were SEVERAL instances that VT should have gotten pass interference calls that were missed. Either way it wasn't our night.

Sorry this wasn't your night... I have a lot of friends that are OSU fans and so I got really excited that we won. And I used to be a Penn State fan when I lived up there and before all that nastiness went down. I learned to strongly dislike OSU then.

Like I said, though, I didn't expect this. I'll take it! But. I'm surprised.

Don't talk to me about the excessive celebration penalties. Those are the dumbest things on earth to get. Just be classy. They better be running laps tomorrow or something.

If OSU's offensive line was not up to par, that's bad news when you play a team like VT. Our offensive line last year suffered, too, but we can almost always lean on special teams and the defense.

Sidenote: New QB is cute (ours).

I dislike OSU and WVU for the same reason, which is, since I live here, it's just expected that I like one of the two teams. It's obnoxious. To be fair, we considered going to the game yesterday. We would NOT consider going to a VT vs. WVU game. I don't like OSU just because they are shoved down our throats around here, but I don't like WVU for that reason PLUS they are assholes to VT fans. I'm obviously biased, but VT seems to be a classy organization to their opponants when they host. WVU sets shit on fire and spits adn throws batteries adn garbage at opponants. I am NOT looking forward to the rekindling of the Black Diamond series. We will NOT be at those games when they are in WV.

We are considering going to Bristol in two years. 160,000 people in one stadium. It's going to be amazing.

As a lifetime Ohio State fan the game made me depressed and mad. Upside: VA Tech's QB looks a little like Zac Effron with a mustache. So I enjoyed that.

Yeah, so at about 3 minutes left when VT had sacked us about 5 times in as many minutes I turned off the TV and went to bed.

It's gonna be a long season.

I'm an OSU fan and I gotta say, everyone is so focused on our (very young) offense but seriously our special teams were a disaster last night.

That said, VT came to play and I sincerely hope they dominate the ACC this year.

Me too, obviously, but my husband just started listing all our tickets on stub hub. I'll be sad to miss a great season if it is indeed a great season.
