Unbearable pressure at 34 weeks?

Has anyone gone early just because they feel like their body has had enough? My ultrasound last week was great but over the past couple days I feel like I've hit the "wall". Up until a couple days ago I was still able to hobble through a quick grocery trip and do light housework. I didn't do anything yesterday and I feel like my crotch got stomped on by an elephant. And the boys are breech so it isn't like they are even head down! Just worried that I'm nearing the end.

For me, at 35w3d, every day is way different. Some are super painful and trying, some just irritating, and others aren't so bad at all, really. Just don't push yourself. Rest when you need to and only do one thing a day (I can't grocery shop AND clean in one day anymore either). A is breech for me and loves to stomp on me too. I feel it radiate all the way into my thighs and it does take me out for a while. And steps? Forget about it! Hang in there! You will be amazed at what your body can do in these last few weeks. Not too much longer and remember these are important weeks, so take it easy and be kind to yourself! It's hard, I know!

  • Thank you @4legsRbest‌ I appreciate those encouraging words. No one really understands what this is like. I feel like I got hit by a bus and I didn't even do anything exerting.

  • I feel like that at 32 weeks. It was so painful to walk when I was at the OB's last Tuesday that they were worried I was in labor and didn't know it so they hooked me up to the monitor.  My OB says I already have the "labor walk".  Um yay?

FX we all make it several more weeks. Hopefully your babies will shift position it will ease up the pain some

  • I hit a mental wall that I was DONE at 34 weeks. At 28 weeks the pelvic pain was so bad I couldn't walk. Now, that I have my C scheduled I feel like I'm over the hump and can make it. I agree with PP that every week/day feels different. I'm getting to the point where I can only do one 'big' thing a day; church or a quick errand, etc. the rest of the time I'm just on the couch with my feet propped up because of the swelling and pressure.
  • At 34w3d I feel the pain/pressure too, have one twin head down and the other transverse/breech depending on the day (he's still flipping like there's plenty of room) so it makes for some interesting feelings. I get frustrated because I was able to be so active so long and now exactly as PP have said its one errand or big thing a day and I'm done or I pay the price and am even more uncomfortable for a day or so. Yesterday I thought I had rested enough the day before that maybe I could make it to Target and a tour of the hospital. Bad idea, I could barely limp back to the recliner by the end of it. Won't be doing that again soon! I'm counting down to a c-section too so that helps a little to have an end date in mind but these last few weeks are definitely harder than I thought they'd be. Hope everyone has an easy day today:)
  • Now I'm scared. I'm at 25 weeks and already often feel this way. I did a target run yesterday and it wiped me out for the rest of the day, I wasn't even up to making dinner. And today I am still recovering. If this is how I feel now I might well be dead by week 33. Hehehee I know, I am over reacting. Ha!!

  • My body gave in at 34 +1.  They were just evicted, even though they were breech and transverse.  Hang in there and don't be afraid to go to L&D for a false alarm!  If they catch it early enough they can give you steroids - I waited until it was too late.
