July 2014 Moms

**sharmon 1317**

@sharmon1317‌ I hope it's ok that I post here. I was lurking and just happened to click on July and saw the post what do you do.

First..congrats on your baby! I'm on mobile so not sure if this is your first. If you don't mind me asking will you go back to work as a nanny? I've been with this family for 20 yrs..yep one is in college and girl is a senior this yr. Lol. Still work 10 hr days too :)

Anyway I'm due in Feb and will need to find another job. I keep getting comments like I can't believe your going to leave your baby to watch another. Believe me I cry about it all the time but that's what I do..it's my job. I want MH to sell house for smaller one but he said no...grrr.

So I guess I'm curious on what you will be doing. Not sure if your able to stay at home or bring your baby to work with you. I don't know anyone IRL that does what I do. Thanks :)

ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

Re: **sharmon 1317**

  • Instead of nannying for one family, could you have a home daycare? It would be stay at home work!

  • So you do find families that will let you bring your baby? Guess I will have to think positive and hope I find a family that will be ok with that. I wouldn't bring every day I have coverage at least 2-3 days. I have been looking on websites but no one has anything just yet for next April.

My current family prob would have to cut my days since they do have a housekeeper every day but I do all the errands, grocery shopping and dinner plus take care of their dog which is in my siggy...isn't he a cutie? Lol. I don't want to manage a house again!!

    Thank you!

@missyrissy‌ I have thought about trying to find 3 other infants. Not sure I would be good at having kids at my house!

  • You could be very decisive about a home daycare. I only accept kiddos ages 2+. So almost all are pretty much potty trained and they will stay with you until they are 5yo
