Hi all! I have been working on my name list for a little while. We have it narrowed down to 3 first names and 3 middle names. These are the combinations we like best. Even though we have a few months to go, I would like some feedback please! Please pick your favorite out of these. If you have a name suggestion not on the list that would be great too! Siblings are Lila and Austin. Thanks in advance:)

Re: Girl fn/mn combinations

  • I love Hannah! I chose Claire as a middle name because I feel like Elizabeth is a very common  middle name. I'm hearing it a lot more lately.

  • Vivian Claire is beautiful, but they are all nice! Good luck.

  • I really like Vivian and Madeline, those would normally be my go to response but for some reason Hannah Elizabeth is really jumping out at me. The flow is great!!
  • I would choose either Vivian or Madeline Claire.

  • Thank you all! I love all these names....this baby has been the most difficult to name. The others were named almost as soon as we found out their sexes.

I do keep going back to either Madeline Claire or Vivian Claire (both top choices in this poll by far). Madeline has been on my favorites list for as long as I can remember, but I would really hope to avoid the nn Maddy. Vivian is a more recent love, but I feel like I would be losing out on Madeline....unless there is another daughter in my future, which I doubt highly at the moment. Haha, I probably sound crazy, but naming another human is kind of a big deal! Anyway, thanks again for all the feedback:)

I think we have similar taste in names ;) I love Madeline of course, and I really really REALLY like Hannah - I might possibly love it, I can't decide! So my choices would be-

#1 Madeline Claire (I think it has a better flow b/c Madeline Elizabeth, although beautiful as well, is a mouthful)

    #2 Hannah Elizabeth

I've never cared for Vivian; nothing wrong with it, but it just seems like such a distant third compared to Madeline and Hannah!

ETA: After saying Hannah Elizabeth a few times, I don't think I like the way it kinda runs together. What about Hannah Eleanor?
  • @dreadpiratebuttercup‌ It totally makes sense. I think the hardest part for me is that when I came across Vivian I didn't really have to think about it. It was just put on the list and automatically up there with Madeline. I've loved Madeline for so long, but Vivian is just kind of shiny and "new" ( I realize the name is not new, whatsoever)

  • I totally know what you mean, because that is what Charlotte was for me! It was new on our list for that baby and I was worried about using a name I only just recently fell in love with. No regrets though! But I do understand the hesitation!

I've definitely been there! Maybe Madeline Vivian or Vivian Madeline?

I was JUST discussing that with my husband! He thinks the endings an/ine sound funny together because they're too similar. Ugh, we will decide here soon...after I go a little crazy;) I appreciate your feedback and help!

Yes! I don't see myself unloving Vivian at all. Glad to know you have no regrets. Charlotte is a beautiful name:)
