NBR: hardwood pet hair vacuum

The only thing mommy baby related about this post is that since lo2 came along I suck even more keeping the house clean. Also now that babe is getting older she's spending more floor time.

We have hard woods and a dog that sheds like crazy. I need a good floor vacuum. Have looked at the Dyson cordless and a couple others. Do you have one you love or hate?

We have a riccar that is amazing for getting the pet hair on our wood floors! It can suck it out from under the piano and other furniture.

We love our Shark Navigator. We use it on tile and carpet. (We don't have hardwood floors). It has great reviews on Amazon.

I love my dyson. It vacuums hardwood and carpet really well. It's heavy but the ball helps.

I have a Dyson ball and like it. I had the cordless Dyson and ended up returning it. It got clogged constantly. And that was just with normal dirt. Not pet hair or anything thick

We're looking at a dyson. They are running $100 off all vacuums right now! The Hoover we have sucks (not in a good way) on hardwood.

Yea we have a Hoover (I think it's the wind tunnel) and I'm disappointed. Came highly recommended by a friend. What gives? We don't even have pets. Maybe I'll try out a Dysom but I'll be so pissed to shell out all that money if it's just as bad as the others
