Pregnant after loss

Just a few weeks ago my husband and I found out we are expecting our second baby after a miscarriage 4 months ago due to cervical incompetence. Today around 3am we went to the ER bcus I had light pink/nude color discharge or spotting, cramping and back pain. Not sure how far along I am yet, but from the date of my first last menstrual they estimated I was 9 weeks. Had an ultrasound done and there was no sac or heartbeat found in my uterus. Their saying it could be that I have an ectopic pregnancy and the baby isn't growing or the estimation of weeks I am was miscalculated. My hcg levels were at 4000, they didn't say anything whether that was good or bad. I'm going back tomorrow to get more blood work done. Anyone else have had a similar situation? I'm very worried.. Just hoping everything is ok.

IVF #2 (antagonist protocol) Feb 2014 => Converted to IUI (Perfect conditions). BFN. IVF #2.1 w/ new RE June 2014: Antagonist protocol. 33R, 31M, 30F, 19 blasts to test!!! I made it through without crashing!! :) Hats off to Dr. Fancypants!! ET of one 5AB blast. BFN. 13 10 CCS'ed snowflakes! FET #1 PUPO as of 7/29 Betas: 8/7@24, 8/9@97, 8/11@334 (etc.) Two sacs on 8/15, one seen on 8/18 after a bleed. U/s 8/25 (6+3) "perfect": 5.9 mm + HB@120bpm! U/s 9/4 (7+6): 15.9 mm + HB@172 bpm! Please, PLEASE stick this time!!!!

    Good luck & many Ts and Ps. I would be very very cautious and definitely have ectopic on the radar. If you have any pain, ANY, do not hesitate to get checked ASAP.

    Was your ultrasound done transvaginally?

    I'm sorry that you're going through this. Your hormone levels are kind of high to not see anything on an US so could be ectopic, but it sounds like they're keeping a close eye on you which is good. Sending T&P.
