I feel sooo bad my throat hurts my nose Is runny and my heAd hurts I've been in bed all day don't know if I should take anything

Re: Cold symptoms !!!!!!!!!!what to do

  • My OB said Unisom is ok to take so that could at least help you sleep and it has benedryl in it to help with the sinuses. I'm in the end of my cold. They also say saline nose spray is ok to take.

  • I think you can take tylenol but not multi-symptom, claritin may help with your nose. Hope you feel better! Pregnant people should be immune from all sickness IMO

  • Thanks ladies
  • I just took unisom for the same thing. I don't know if it's it's a cold or allergies yet, but either way, I hope to sleep through it at least. And a nice cup of tea (not herbal).

  • I know the Neti Pot is kind of a weird option but it works like a charm! It's a really helpful and all natural way to help with your runny nose if you don't want to rely on meds!
  • Pp's all have great suggestions. You could also try a humidifier at night for your throat.

  • I'm on day 3 of a cold- my remidies so far are the Neti pot, Tylenol for the headache, tons of water, and a warm drink to soothe the scratchy throat. Hope you feel better soon!

  • Ahhhhh this sucks :(
  • Day two of a really nasty cold, which my 2 year old also has. My only remedy has been a lot or orange juice and an entire day spent in pjs on the couch.

  • In addition to the previous suggestions, my OB okayed Robitussin and Sudafed once I was in 2nd tri.  I mostly managed with Tylenol, Unisom, a humidifier, OJ, tea and rest, but one of those meds might work for you as well.  You can call your OB/nurse line to see if they recommend any other meds.
