Amazon Registry Completion Discount

Has anyone received their 10-15% off discount? I'm just wondering how it works...I have Amazon Mom, so we should be getting 15% off, but I don't know how it gets applied to purchases.

You should have it already. You get it 60 days before your due date. It just shows up at the top of your registry when you are logged in. You won't see it on mobile. You just click to use it and it shows you which items are eligible. Sadly books weren't eligible. I actually added most of my older daughters Christmas gifts to my registry since I'm a STM and didn't need as much.

Oh, I forgot to add that you can only use it once. Once you click to use it you just add whatever you want to buy to your cart.

Weird, I don't see it. I'm logged on my desktop now and have my registry open, but it doesn't show any discount applied. I may need to email customer service. Thanks for the info!

It's not supper obvious. It just said it at the very top. Maybe I'm wrong and it's 30 days before and 60 days after. If it is you can change your due date and it will pop up. You need to have the registry for at least 14 days before you get it.

It doesn't show the discount applied but look under the Registry Jumpstart. There should be a box that says "Your Completion Discount As an Amazon Mom member: 15% Redeem Now". Click on the redeem now and it takes you to a page that shows what is eligible.

Okay, I will try changing my due date (not due til 10/19) and see if that works. I appreciate the help! I've been waiting to get my completion coupons/discounts before buying the rest of the crap we need, and so far I haven't gotten anything from BRU or Target.

Also, the discount only applies to items sold through Amazon- not other sellers

I just got mine last week. I was anxious to get to use it too, but everyone is right--30 days before your due date it will pop up.

I was sort of bummed because some items I added to my baby registry I couldn't use the discount on. You do have to order all the items at once to use the discount. It will show you "which items are eligible" to use the discount on.

One tricky little part of the Amazon mom thing is the person who is the primary Amazon Prime holder must also be the first person on the registry. I had to switch our registry around for that reason. Just made DH the primary name on the registry.

I also found that you can add items to your registry even after you get the coupon so that you can apply it to more stuff since it only applies to items in your registry.

Oh, this is good to know!! My DH is the primary on our account but not the registry. I will go change that!

It seems that BRU arbitrarily gives out some 10% and some 15%. I got a 15% mailer for completion discount and the store staff was surprised.

I thought it would just be a code so I added everything to my cart, then realized it has to be on your registry first before it's put in the cart...15% is a good deal, but Jesus H did it take me awhile to figure out how to use it properly.
