Squeeee!!

I am fully aware of being pregnant but there are some things and some moments that really just drive it through my brain like no other. Today's moment: I can see him moving!!!
My stomach goes BOING. BOING. BOING BOING. I've been feeling for a while but SEEING is a whole other ballgame.
I just love this new development :)

Also I was overweight when I got pregnant so I was thinking I wouldn't be able to see this type of thing due to my uh, excessive insulation, so to be able to see him is just such an awesome surprise.
I had to post it here bc no one else was as amazed as me (yeah the baby moved, yeah he's been moving...) and I needed to bust out my joy in a baby centric venue.

Re: Squeeee!!

  • I can't wait until it's visible & Boyfriend can feel it! He's about to go out to sea for a while- I'm hoping when he gets back he can spend lots of time cuddling my giant belly, lol.

I'm plus size, too, and I was so so so grumpy when everyone else could feel kicks and I couldn't!

  • Congrats!! That is a really fun and exciting development. I feel my baby kick all the time now but I usually don't see it unless I am doing something like reading with my book propped on my belly. Then the book starts going hop, hop, hop! Makes me laugh, as though baby is protesting!!
  • Congrats! I noticed this recently too and it is awesome! My stomach just kinda jumps when shes practicing her moves in there! lol. Love it! I am plus size too and was worried that it would affect my experience too, but so far I haven't seen any difference between my experience and everyone else on here. :)
  • Yay! My H felt her kick for the first time yesterday. Life is amazing!

  • It is so much fun to watch. Make sure you video it at some point. I have a few of dd when she had the hiccups. I still watch them every once in a while.

  • I think it is so cool, too! At my u/s on Wednesday, he kicked right where the u/s probe was. He knocked it off my belly! The tech started laughing. he doesn't like to be bothered!

I am totally with you ladies. I am plus size and was honestly afraid I wouldn't feel her or see her move. I feel her so much throughout the day and have even felt her BOING at least a few times a day lately. I'm 27 weeks and 1 day and although I've felt it, my husband still hasn't caught the movement moments lol. Hoping he can feel them soon or at least as I get further along!

Edit: typing is hard with slightly swollen fingers haha

  • DH and I determined that when LO is on my bladder (or at least something is) it is his own waterbed. Jump, roll around, settle in to take a nap.
