Mombo feeding pillow

I posted the other day looking for recommendations for a good bf pillow, not loving my Boppy. Someone mentioned that pillow Mombo. Has anyone else tried it? It looks similar to the Boppy except it has a hard/firm sided feature. Just looking for honest feedback before purchasing. I know a lot depends on body type. I am about 5'9 and a little thicker.

Don't know anything about that pillow. But my breast friend pillow comes highly recommended
I saw a lot of people post that but it seemed like mixed reviews, just like the Boppy. I may just buy one, try it and if I don't like it see if I can return it.

  • I think I'm the one who mentioned it. I had issues with LO latch on my left breast. I can get her latched pillow or not on my right but my left i need her on a pillow. It works great for football and cross cradle holds. The firm side keeps her propped very well. The firm side is so much better than the boppy was (boppy went flat) and after she's done eating she just lays there asleep on the pillow.

I haven't used the soft side yet.

I'm pretty short (5' 2") and I'm thicker postpartum then I was when I bought it (22 lbs thicker) but it fits pretty well, you may need to ease or wiggle it on a little bit it stays in place.

Boppy sucked because it went flat easily, never lined up well for me and DS just didn't like it.

my brest friend was to large for me.

  • I had a Boppy, a double Brest Friend, and 1 other one. I tried them all a time or 2 and got rid of them. I think BFing pillows are really individual and (for me) unnecessary.
