So I’ve heard the term volunteer doula thrown around a lot when
I was researching them but the only places that seem to have them is on the
West Coast. Does anyone how to find a
volunteer doula in CT?
I love the idea of a doula for someone that knows what they’re doing and could provide that soothing support. I’m 24 and this pregnancy was a surprise blessing but since finding out I’ve been trying to overload on as much info as possible. My family is great, but more loud Italian than soothing mindfulness I’m trying to go for. I’m a little intimidated by some of the horror stories of trying to go natural and then doctors /hospitals have to follow their timeline of procedures. I guess I’ve watched the Business of Being Born a few to many times hah but any help would great! Thanks in advance!
Re: Doula's in CT
You can always search CAPPA.net and DONA.com. They both have search engines to find doulas in almost every area.
