Hello (Intro)

Hey, I've been lurking for awhile now. I'm new to all this so I'm sorry if I use incorrect terminology or don't know how to explain things correctly.

My son T is 16 months old and has receptive and expressive speech delays. We are just finishing up setting things up with EI, waiting on some referrals for speech therapy, and a developmental pedi eval. I don't really know where the future is heading but I'm imagining it might be years before we have a dx (if we do) so we are just taking it one step at a time and doing whatever we can.

Reading through this board has been very helpful, and you all seem very friendly and supportive so I wanted to say hello.
