This check-in is open to anyone that is part of the SAIF community and is currently pregnant.

If there are any newcomers that would like to be added to the list, post below and include you EDD and how many beans you have cooking.

Checkin is every Tuesday, feel free to post updates all week.

Q: Do you buy baby clothes consignment or in stores? What is the most you pay?

BabyKsMommy - EDD 12.3.14- 8/19 25 weeks today. I had a regular appt on Monday and both babies had good heart rates. I have a growth scan tomo which I am excited about as DH will be coming. He hasn't seen the babies since 16 wks. I'm on 2 wk appts now which is great because I'm super nervou about ptl.

Blueberries8-8/19- I had a bleeding scare today with a little light pink bleeding. I went to the clinic with the hope of getting another beta for reassurance, especially because if things are going in the wrong direction I rather know ASAP. They offered to do an ultrasound as well. I saw a gestational sac with a yolk sac which is pretty much exactly what you'd expect to see at 5w1d. There wasn't a visible fetal pole yet. They saw no obvious source of the bleeding, though I do have a cyst on my right ovary.

My beta came back at 10762. I am happy it is increasing but it is a bit weirdly high for what was seen on the ultrasound for a singleton so I am not sure how to explain that. I am happy that so far it looks like a singleton pregnancy -- twins are awesome but with my history, a singleton is definitely the safest bet. I will go back next Thursday and hopefully we will see a heartbeat and fetal pole then. Just praying that everything keeps progressing!

In other news, I look about 20 weeks pregnant between Prednisone and the standard IVF bloat. It's so awkward, especially this time of year when I can't hide behind a big sweater or sweatshirt. It makes me feel gross but as long as everything continues, it will be well worth it.

ccam - EDD 11.29.14 – 8/26 26w3d today! Nothing really new to update. I need to go for my glucose test and completely forgot this past weekend, but I have another week to get it done. In some ways, I can't believe I'm almost in the 3rd trimester but I definitely feel like I am!! Slow and tired.

Ducky719 -8/26 Yay, it's Tuesday and i have a real update this week. I had my NT scan today and baby is right on track and looks great!! EDD is still March 8th (i don't know if you remember but at my 7w u/s w the re i was measuring "behind" which put me into a total panic). 12w2d and ready to announce to the world! . OB appt is next Wed.

Itsmevkb-8/26- Ladies, I'm pregnant. My first beta is tomorrow so I have my fingers crossed. Yes, I know the actual number doesn't matter, it's the doubling, and honestly, I know even doubling doesn't guarantee anything but you know, baby steps and I need little things to focus on rather than big picture things like holy cr*p I am going to have five kids!

I just got the results from my first beta. At 14dpo it is 110 which is good. I won't have another thought now for a week which might actually help my anxiety instead of hurt since sometimes too much information is not a good thing for me!

Jenny935-8/26- No huge updates here. I hit 12w yesterday. My principal stared at my sooooo obvious stomach and said in an amusing tone, "Are you ready to share with the rest of the building yet?" We're waiting until after we see DH's siblings on Saturday so we can tell them in person. Thank goodness, because I'm tired of having to remember not to say anything! Also, our NT scan is on Friday so hopefully we'll have good, calming news at that point.

Kdfecarie, EDD 8/29/14 (CS 8/22/14) 7/22 sorry its been a while life is crazy here right now, and i dont see it letting up till maybe november! 35 weeks now, and baby will be here in 26 days! I cant believe its so soon!!! Been rough with contractions and sickness making a return... Only a few more weeks!

KDR1919- EDD 4/16/15-8/12 I'm very early, 5 weeks tomorrow. EDD 4/16/15. My ultrasound is scheduled for 8/25. I'm still taking estradiol and progesterone 3 x daily. I don't feel pregnant and this doesn't seem real yet! It is hard to believe that it took 12 embryos over 5 transfers to get my twins and this pregnancy is from 1 single frozen embryo?!?

KMC84-EDD4/11/15-8/19- Second u/s today showed a happy bean with a hr of 166! Aaaaand they kicked me out I was expecting to go back next week as my last visit with the RE. Bittersweet!

LuvBoston, EDD 3/9/15- 8/26/14- 12 weeks 1 day! We got the panorama test back everything is low risk genetically and we are having a boy! What do you do with boys? We haven't had one in the family in 60 years.

I can now attribute all my stomach distress to a boy they are little devils:)

mdiblasi10 –EDD 1/30/15- 8/26
I say it every week, but I can't believe I will be 18 weeks on Friday! Nothing new going on. I am still taking the Zofran. I try to skip it some days, but I get really nauseous. Counting down the days until the anatomy scan next week

Mayzie15- EDD 2/01/15- 8/26- 17 weeks and doing well. Had an appt last week and everything is good. I've been so pre-occupied and it seems this pregnancy is starting to fly by.

Mnerani – 8/18- Almost 34 weeks and feeling great. Our shipment from Kenya just arrived to the U.S. (2 months at sea!) and now it "just" has to clear customs. That could take 2 days or 2 months, so I'm praying it's sooner rather than later. I really want to be settled in before the new baby comes. I'm so over moving!

Pennylane26 -Boy EDD 11.26.14 – 8/26 26 weeks! Looking forward to entering 3rd tri soon! Had the nursery painted and the crib arrived this week. Getting very excited for this little man! My heartburn is terrible, but other than that I am feeling good, although this belly is getting a little uncomfortable!

srveatch –8/26- I'll be 26 weeks on Thursday. I have been busy planning baby brother's nursery on Pinterest. I am ready to get started but am having a hard time deciding if we need another crib or if we will put A in a day bed in her new big girl room. My heartburn is getting worse and I've been getting a few headaches lately. Other than that I feel pretty good! No trips planned any time soon. I am saving my paid time off for Maternity leave. My maternity clothes are right in season since my due date is A's birthday. Good thing they still fit!

Robeano-EDD 2/3/15- 8/26 17 weeks today. Feeling tired. I had a midwife appointment last Thursday, I heard the heartbeat. I love that sound!! My blood pressure was fantastic, so that's good news. I also booked my anatomy scan for Sept 11. Can't wait to find out what we're having!!

18 weeks ago today! Just over a week until we find out what we're having. Feeling tired but I think a large part has to do with chasing a toddler around all day.

QOTW: I buy both. I was given so many clothes for Hannah that I still have barely bought her anything. Just fancy outfits. I think the most I spent on one outfit was $25. If new baby is a girl I'm set. Otherwise I've got some shopping to do!!

I'm 18w4d today and feeling great! I'm so excited to see her at our anatomy scan on Thursday. I have been feeling her move, but in the last few days the movements have been getting stronger. I am loving it!!!!

QOTW: I've bought everything new, except a few hand-me-downs for DS. I'm part of a Mommy Exchange board on FB, but the stuff is sold so fast I don't even have a chance! We are having a girl this time, so I've been buying lots of clothes lately. I try to shop sales as much as I can and buy cheaper things for the younger ages when they grow out of things so fast. I don't really have a set limit, but I tend to spend $15 or less for any one item.

8w3d today. I am so unbelievably tired

I feel generally lousy all the time, which is kind of depressing.... I'm really hoping I pull out of this funk in a few weeks! OB appointment is 9/15.

Both. There is a great sale near us in the spring and fall. When you consign, you get to shop a day early. I usually get a decent haul of cloths that are still new with tags! Score! I also look for stuff in Marshall's. Department store prices drive me nuts!

@Ducky719 - I felt serious movement around 17 weeks with #2. I had a few flutters beginning at 14/15 weeks but felt regular movement at 17 weeks. Much earlier than with DD!

Update: Holy Heartburn! I'm so over it! 27 weeks and feeling good otherwise, but starting to get big and uncomfortable, getting hard to snuggle DD which is sad! We do lots of side hugs.

Have an appointment tomorrow with my OB so will see how my BP is and also do a second 1 hour glucose test (had my first at 13 weeks and passed, hopefully the same goes for this one!!). I also have an u/s with my MFM next week, can't wait to see my little man bouncing around!

QOTW: I buy all of DD and DS's clothes new, but always on sale! I don't think I've ever purchased anything full price, I love the frequent 40% off deals online for baby gap and the awesome in-store carter's sales.

@ducky719 no movement yet, I'm 18 weeks today. But at my 9 week ultrasound I asked the tech about my placenta and she said it looked like it might be anterior, but she couldn't be sure at that time. (I forgot to ask at 12 weeks) Last pregnancy I had anterior placenta and didn't feel anything until 22 weeks. So I'm thinking I'm in for the long haul again.

@kmc84‌ , I hope you come out of the funk soon... I had it had this pregnancy and started feeling better around 12-14 weeks... Hang in there! @Ducky719‌ I started feeling movement around 18 weeks. Ironically I felt movement with DD around 15 weeks. But this one is way more active now than A ever was

@PennyLane26‌ I hear you about the heartburn... I am definitely going to get a prescription when I have my next appointment. The Pepcid just isn't cutting it anymore. I will be 27 weeks on Thursday. My next appointment is next Wednesday, I am peaking my glucose test then as well. I am going straight to the three hour test since I had GD last time. I also have an MFM growth scan. I hope baby brother is growing bug in there and it's nit just me getting big

@Ducky719‌ I started feeling her around 15 weeks this time, but very lightly and not all day. Now at 18 weeks, it's much stronger and more frequent. With DS, I started feeling him around 17 or 18 weeks, but I wasn't certain it was him until 19 1/2 weeks.

Hi ladies!

Update: I'm 27w4d today. I think I'm in the 3rd tri or at least close to it! Hard to believe this LO will be here in less than 3 months. I'm starting to put some thought into the nursery and I just went through newborn clothes to see what we have / need. It's getting real!!

QOTW: I buy baby clothes new although I received a ton of hand me downs from a girlfriend and my SIL. Like @PennyLane26, I only shop for baby clothes during a sale or with a coupon. The most I would pay for a baby item, maybe $20.

Headed to 36 weeks this weekend! I have just started to feel big, slow, and tired- the lovely end of third tri. Our shipment from Kenya is going to be delivered to our house on Saturday (!) which is the last big, move-related "to do" before the baby arrives. Once we get all of that stuff moved in, I know I'm going to be like "OK, baby- time to meet your family!"

@Ducky719- I felt legit flutters in the 13 week range this time around- SO much sooner than with DS #1. Stronger, unmistakeable movements didn't really get going until after 20 weeks though.

QOTW: Both of my sisters have boys older than DS, so we get a ton of hand-me-downs, but I do go to consignment stores occasionally. I really can't ever justify spending more than about $10 on a single item, unless it's shoes.

I'm a little over 18 weeks today and feeling pretty good. My anatomy scan is on the 15th and I'm looking forward to seeing my little guy. Most people in our circle know that we are having another baby. Most people are excited but some that don't know our struggle with IF and IVF have been asking if this was an opps - which is extremely frustrating!

@Ducky719‌ I haven't felt any movement yet. I had an anterior placenta and tilted uterus with DS1, I think it will be that way again. I finally felt movement at 22 weeks or later.

QOTW - most of DS clothes are new. We have outlets that have Gymboree, Osh Gosh, & Carter's - which is nice. I've found great deals at Burlington baby depot. I've purchased a few clothes from consignment events and another one is coming up shortly. Just need a few things for DS2 since they will be in different seasons.

@Ducky719‌ I obviously haven't felt anything thing this time around, but with A I honest to goodness felt stuff in my 11th week. It was few and far between (and my OB thought I was cray cray) but there were definite strong flutters that were not gut related

We are 5 weeks and 2 days...with an EDD of May 5th! I still don't really "feel" pregnant yet! I'm hoping that is normal and okay! We go in for our first u/s appt. with our RE on Sept. 18th!

QOTW: I haven't bought much of anything yet...but I will most likely be in the store

Hi all! Life has been crazy so I haven't been able to get on much. I enjoyed reading all the updates!

@ducky719 I was really starting to wonder if I was feeling things earlier this week, right around 13w. I know it isn't likely, but it was right where they found the baby on the u/s last Friday so it made me wonder. It was fleeting though. With DS I didn't feel anything for certain until the kick that was so big DH could feel it. (Full disclosure - there have been moments in the last year where I've thought I felt baby - and I wasn't pregnant. So I do wonder about my brain sometimes!)

As far as this baby goes, I'm 13w3d today (Friday.) I outed myself to extended family and work last weekend after an uneventful NT scan. I'm having super exhaustion issues with the 2nd trimester, but I think that's because I went back to school just before it started!

I am 13 weeks 4 days and had an us Tuesday I have two SCH which I evidently had after I fell in July but they forgot to put them in the report. They have gotten bigger. The big question is why my MFM never mentioned them. Her head is on the chopping block I am so pissed.how could you miss them on a level 3 ultrasound.

Q: I was given all LO clothes and the few things we have needed I bought at two consigment places we have here they were brand new.

Update: Currently 7w4d with twins. I continue to have on/off bleeding from the SCH. I had another ultrasound on Wednesday and the SCH is measuring slightly bigger. I had a RE appointment on Thursday and my RE is shocked that I got pregnant with twins from this cycle and he is very concerned about the possibility of a very preterm birth due to my history and the current bleeding (also had chronic bleeding in my previous twin pregnancy which eventually resulted in premature rupture of membranes, likely due to the blood wearing down the amniotic sac). He even mentioned the possibility of reduction, not because he is recommending it per se but because he wanted it to be on my radar screen.

I am feeling pretty anxious. I really hope we will make it through to a happy outcome this time. I do think that having a healthy full-term singleton pregnancy since losing my twins bodes well. I am trying to find the best MFM I can in the mean time.

QOTW: I buy new, but if we had good consignment options in our area, I would be totally open to that. I like to stock up twice a year when Tea Collection has the extra 30-40% off their clearance prices.
