Perhaps im far behind?

FTM due dec 24th. Been seeing alot here lately that lots of ppl have gotten alot of baby stuff all ready to go. Im not doing a baby registery as I dont have many ppl around in my life who would be buying items for me and sending a shower so its all up to me and my bf :) which I am not upset about at all, get things done better ourselves anyways.. ha no MIL issues to be had! Anyone else not hit that nesting stage yet ? So far we have managed to get
-a crib(no mattress)
-rocker
-bassinett
-2 sleeper outfits
- names picked .. still team green :)
And well thats all.. since we are purchasing all items ourselves are we crazy for not buying everything now ?!

    Looks good! I would get your mattress soon though. That way, you can let it air out. They have a nasty smell to them.

    You're good! I didn't buy a single thing until 3 weeks before I gave birth last time. I swore I would not do that this time, but it looks like history will repeat itself. I haven't bought a damn thing. I will be reusing a lot but still :-/ I'm not much of a nester. I work best under pressure anyway.

    When does the nesting stage hit you up ? If at all in my case! .. dont get me wrong I can speand all day in baby stores .. but never seem to leave with anything. Shouldnt I get this big super women flash to want to do everything baby!?

    This will be me! Im very minimalistic so I think my brain thinks its cool to just go with the flow lol!

    If you have FB--check for local yard sale pages in your area! I see tons and tons of baby gear for sale, lots very cheap and lightly used so in great condition! Just a good way to save some money on things like swings, bouncy chairs etc.  ;)

    we have been done for quite some time, but I am pretty anal about shit.
    with my first son I was running around the last few weeks trying to get things done, & I refuse to do that this time.

    I just got baby boys first bag of clothes from a neighbor at community garage sale! I called hubby ecstatic that baby boy won't be in all pink since he has 2 older sisters, granted all his play toys will be though ;)

    Sounds like the start of nesting kicking in. You just have more time and probably a plan on how/when you will be completing your next rounds of purchases.

    You are way further ahead then me. I am scheduled for a c-sec the end of November and have a few outfits and a list of possible names. Yup, that's it.

    I have some baby clothes and a stuffed bunny. That's it. (don't have anything baby related left over from my other kids)

    I plan to buy the bulk of what we need within the next couple weeks, and MIL wants to take me shopping for whatever else.

    We aren't having a shower either, #2, but I have set up a private amazon registry. I am adding things I want/ need. When we get the completion discount, I'll buy everything. I'll prob register at target and/or bru too for the coupons and discount.
