I am so sorry for the late check in!! I am out I town for a family wedding and lost track of the days!

Big hugs to all of you! I'm always rooting in the shadows for you guys, and still being an infertility awareness educator from the pregnancy world - we had a woman on my BMB claim she was "infertile for 10 months" after her first child was born. :-/ Um, just... No. I politely corrected her that post partum amenhorrea is NOT infertility at all, and guess what? She actually thanked me for letting her know she was using the wrong term and changed her post! Yay!!! Slightly more awareness, score!

I drove 600 miles yesterday solo since DH couldn't come to the wedding this weekend. It was NBD, really, though I can imagine as this bump gets bigger it will get more uncomfortable for such long trips. There were a few times I got out to walk around and my munchkin had bunched himself up all weird and it was hard to stand up straight at first. Such a weird feeling!

All well here - celebrated our anniversary this weekend, which was fun! Love that man so damned much.

21w3d now!

We have picked out fabrics for the nursery! We are going with a nautical theme as I am a big fan of sailing. Anchor fabric for curtains, knots fabric for crib skirt. Haven't quite decided on an accent color - royal blue and white for sure, but maybe red or teal? And really cute nautical star knobs for the dresser:

QOTW: I am most excited about cooler weather! Fall is my favorite time of the year. And Thanksgiving in our new home will be extra special.

Hi, ladies!

All is well here. First growth scan is next Thursday! Baby girl thinks my bladder is a play toy so I have to pee literally All.The.Time.

Things are getting crazy around here. The first of our 3 showers is at the end of the month. we have maternity photos and birthing classes next month. Our OB appts are moving to every other week now. So much to do.

Oh, we decided on day care arrangements though which has been a HUGE load off my shoulders. My goal all along has been to get as much done in advance so November (when I am more physically miserable) will be as stress free as possible. So far I am making progress.

Always lurking and thinking of you ladies!

QOTW: College football! Oh, and not feeling like I am going to vomit from the heat every time I Get in my car.

Hi everyone! I don't mind the late check in, my appointment was today so it worked out!

I'm still lurking you all a lot! Glad to see some bfps lately!! So happy for you! Sending you all lots of support too, I know there have been a lot of tough situations going on in your lives too.

I had an appointment today with the RE, I'm 6w6d but measuring a couple days ahead. We could hear the heartbeat and everything is measuring along well. Still taking the progesterone, but I'm finally getting used to it! I think I'm also finally starting to relax a little. I don't know how the "fertiles" get so excited and tell everyone so early! I've been nervous that everything is okay all the time, but I'm glad I got to see that everything is progressing!

We told our parents last weekend and they were very happy for us. I think we will tell siblings this weekend, but no friends until at least another appointment. I'm still a worrier! I may finally do an intro on my bmb or PAIF. I've been too nervous to do one yet still!

Not too much else going on with me; I started back at school so I'm busy and tired! We are taking a mini weekend trip in a few weeks so I'm looking forward to that too!

Thinking of you ladies often!!

@catlover790‌ - there is definitely a PAIF experience that isn't like a fertile's newly pregnant experience. I encourage you to intro on PAIF at least as you are NOT alone in a huge range of emotions right now.

Most PAIFers I know feel huge amounts of fear and anxiety (at least until 10-12 weeks or so, for some they're nervous all pregnancy) and guilt (why me and not my 3T friends? I didn't deserve it) and oddly a bit of shame and feeling uncomfortable celebrating their news (for lack of a better word - a lot of PAIFers don't want to talk much about their pregnancies and get uncomfortable when others ask a lot of questions or get really excited). It's all 100% normal, and I think the girls on PAIF will be totally helpful for you.

And please please please PM me if you need to vent or worry or ask questions or just talk. I have now talked several 3T PAIF girls through the nerves of the early weeks and we'll help you, too. It's a scary (though exciting!) new experience, and you don't have to go through it on your own if you don't want to.

@southernyankeegirl‌ Thank you so much for your response! I appreciate it, and it does sound like a lot of how I feel right now! I think I will do an intro on PAIF, I guess I just feel bad because although we have IF we only had the one treatment cycle and I feel guilty that it worked the first time. I don't want to make anyone else feel bad, but I know my experience is different than someone who didn't have IF too.

Thank you again; it's nice to know I will be welcome there! Once I'm not mobile I think I will intro there! You've made me feel so much better!

I apologize for the late check in, but I just wanted to say hi to everyone. It was a busy summer and I didn't have much time to bump. We made it to 16weeks this past Wednesday and the nerves have finally begun to wear off a bit..but I don't think they'll every really go away. We made our first purchase today and it was a big one, the crib! I'm very anxious for our anatomy scan Oct 1...I haven't seen the little one since 10 weeks..and I'm just dying! I lurk often and I just wanted to let you all that I've got you all in my thoughts and prayers! Best wishes!

Hi everybody hope you're doing well.My update is that our little guy made an early arrival on Labor Day my water unexpectedly broke while napping and contractions picked up which I couldn't feel at all and then he made his debut at 1:16 on September 2nd. Due to him arriving way before his birthday which was suppose to be october 27th he is spending time in the Nicu but is doing well.My husband and I are over the moon in love with this little guy and can't wait till he can come home.

@Wolfette139‌ - oh my goodness, so scary!!! I am glad you are being monitored and on bed rest. I hope this is just an inconvenient bump in the road, and relieved baby girl is doing just fine. I don't know much about the clerclage except to be glad they've got a plan to keep her cooking. Big hugs!!!

@Iloveflipflops - I don't know how I skimmed past your post, but OMG! Baby boy!!! Congratulations!!!!!!! So thrilled he's here safe and sound, despite his surprisingly early arrival. I hope for an uneventful NICU stay and that he's home soon! How're you feeling?

So....we had planned to deliver our twins at 38 weeks via c-section and got a small change in plans last Friday.

When the MFM dr. saw us for our growth ultrasound, she suggested we deliver at 37 weeks for the following reasons:

1. I have pre-eclampsia (protein in urine high)

2. BOTH babies are now BREECH

3. Multiples

4. age

5. still monitoring gestational diabetes and high blood pressures

6. swelling

So, my dr talked with her as well and then the call came today. Next week, 9/16 we will deliver the boys! We have an afternoon time slot but that could change based on scheduling of others.

My 10/7/14 EDD just got completely thrown out the window!

Excited, and nervous just the same. I think I'm still in shock as we are still in the preparing mode here at my house. I just HAD to "tell" you all as the support from this group has been amazing! We are 36 weeks tomorrow and every day matters.

It's a useful trick! However I went straight to maternity clothes at 8w - didn't have a bump yet, still some bloat, but damned if they're not the most comfortable pants ever.

Why does anyone put up with zippers and non-stretchy waistbands?!!! DH is going to have to hide my maternity pants if he ever expects me to go back to my normal clothes.
